臺灣的大學教育是通識教育,側重理論與思考,主要在培養學生具有一定程度的知識水準且能獨立思考。因此,談到室內設計教育的目標,就應討論理論與實務間平衡的問題,應用學科的教育不應與社會脫節,理論應領導實務,但理論不能完全取代實務,如何才能在二者間取得平衡是室內設計教育的首要問題。本研究主要目的為探討臺灣室內設計教育發展與課程內容概況,希望能藉由此研究結果了解臺灣室內設計教育之發展現狀,提供給室內設計學界、業界從業人員參考。 臺灣的大學院校室內空間設計學系發展,截至2010年為止,已經有25所室內空間設計學系等相關系所成立。臺灣的室內空間系所在教學上大多秉持著分組教學、小班教學、重視團隊合作與分組實習操作,結合數位科技與電腦輔助設計之專業教學。臺灣大學院校的室內設計系課程除了「室內設計的符號與圖例」沒有統一的既有問題之外,連課程名稱都十分多樣化,開課年級與必選修的設定也因系所而有相當大的差異。因此,如何讓室內設計課程的內容能理論與實務並重,且在專業職能培訓上能夠達到一致,讓臺灣大學院校25所學校室內設計教育所培養出來的專業室內設計人才能夠達到「學為所用」之教育目標,進而提升臺灣「軟實力」之設計競爭力就成為臺灣室內設計教育一個值得省思之重要課題。

英文摘要

University education is general education in Taiwan, focusing on the theory and thinking, can train students to have a certain degree of independent thinking and mainly in the level of knowledge. It comes to interior design education, the goal should be to discuss the question of balance between theory and practice, the applied science of education should not be out of touch with society, the theory should lead practices, but the theory can not be completely replaced in practice, how can we achieve a balance between theory and practice will be the most important issue of interior design education. The main purpose of this study is to explore the interior design education development and curriculum Overview .Hope the research results can understand the development status of the interior design education, provide the results for reference to interior design academic and industry of employees. The development of Taiwan's academic institutions interior design Department of up to 2010 has been set up by the25 Department of Interior Design.Department of. School property, Department of interior design in Taiwan which teach mostly uphold group teaching, teaching in small classes, emphasis on teamwork and group practice operations, combined with digital technology and computer-aided design of professional teaching. Universities in Taiwan Department of Interior Design courses in addition to the interior design symbols and the legend "There is no unified both problems, even the course name are very diverse, the commencement year and must elective setting the considerable differences. Therefore, how to make the contents of the interior design courses to both theory and practice, and be able to reach consensus in the professional ability of training, universities and colleges of 25 schools in interior design education in Taiwan by trained professional interior design talents to achieve the" Learning for design competitiveness has become an important topic of interior design education is a reflection of the educational goals to enhance Taiwan's "soft power".
