高功率二極體端面激發固態雷射在基礎科學以及產業發展上佔有不可或缺的角色。本文將針對摻釹晶體探 討數種能夠在二極體端面激發架構下提升輸出功率的方法,並分析每種方法的優缺點以及改善光束品質的 可能解決之道。其中,我們創新地設計多塊键結的複合式摻釹釩酸釔晶體,搭配兩顆將近百瓦的光纖耦合 雷射二極體,產生了接近百瓦的連續波雷射振盪器,所獲得的光束品質小於2。最後,我們也討論了此類 光源進一步的應用與前景。
High-power diode-end-pumped solid-state laser plays an important role in a variety of fundamental scientific and industrial fields. In this report, we introduce several methods for power scaling in diode-end-pumped Nd-doped crystal laser system, and the pros and the cons for each approach are comprehensively analyzed, particularly for the issue of improving beam quality. Among which, we have originally designed a Nd:YV〇4 crystal with multiple doping concentration to realize a high-power diode-end-pumped continuous-wave laser at 1064 nm with the output power of nearly 100 W, where the beam quality is better than 2. We also discuss the potential application and prospect for such light source.
