於結構光場的相關研究中,光旋渦的產生在實際的應用上扮演相當重要的角色。本文透過理論驗證一個 高階的花瓣Laguerre-Gaussian (LG)模態可以被轉換成一組共軸且十字相交的Hermite-Gaussian (HG)模態,且其鑲嵌有對應於軌道角動量態的二維光旋渦陣列。利用這層轉換關係,我們使用可旋轉的兀/2柱面鏡對,透過實驗來產生具有可觀數量的二維光旋渦陣列的軌道角動量態。更進一步,我們用理論證明一群HG模態與LG模態之間的轉換可以導致二維同調態的空間結構從利薩如曲線轉換至次擺線曲線。有了此轉換關係的連結,我們利用實驗,透過輸入利薩如模態並經過柱面鏡對來轉換、產生各式各樣的結構光場。本文所呈現的研究結果不只實現了產生各式結構光場的新方法;另一方面,也提供了一些實用的新想法給後續跟光旋渦相關的研究與應用。

英文摘要

Generation of optical vortices associated with structured light beams plays an important role in practical applications. In this article, we theoretically confirm that a high-order “flower-like” Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) mode can be transformed into a set of collinear crisscrossed Hermite-Gaussian (HG) modes embedded with twodimensional (2D) optical vortex array that defines an orbital angular momentum (OAM) state. Exploiting this conversion relation, we experimentally produce the OAM state of considerable two-dimensional (2D) optical vortex array by utilizing a rotatable n/2 cylindrical lens mode converter (冗/2-CLMC). Moreover, we theoretically verify that converting the Hermite-Gaussian modes into the Laguerre-Gaussian can lead to the spatial morphologies of the two-dimensional (2D) coherent states to be transformed from Lissajous figures to trochoidal curves. With this transformational relationship, we experimentally generate various structured lights by exploiting a cylindrical-lens mode converter to transform the optical Lissajous modes. The present investigation not only manifests a notable method to generate optical coherent waves with various orbital spatial morphologies, but might provide some useful insight in the study of the vortex light beam and its further applications.
