本文旨在透過羅爾斯探索社會正義原則時所構思之原初位置（original position）此項思想實驗設置，釐定未來世代能否擁有權利、以及擁有何種權利的問題。本文說明，儘管未來世代的人格，將會受到前代行為選擇的影響，而有人格不同一的問題（the Non-Identity Problem），但這並不影響
其身而為人的道德價值，以及相關可主張的道德權利。本文指出，透過原初位置的思考，未來世代雖目前不存在，但卻與當代人一樣，擁有相等、身而為人的相關道德利益，並可主張相關的道德權利。

This article aims to explore those rights of future generations from the original position - John Rawls’s theoretical setting of the theory of justice. Although future people have the Non-Identity Problem, they still have the morally relevant interests and moral rights no matter who they are. In thinking of original position, future generations and contemporary people have the same morally relevant interests and moral rights, no matter if they exist currently or not.
