中文摘要

國內發生輻射汙染建築物事件,截至民國九十年止,已知有一百八十棟建物、一千六百多戶住家遭受鈷六十污染,造成輻射曝露的人口多達數千人以上。輻射汙染建築事件爆發源自於民國八十一年台北市廈門街的台電員工自建住宅大樓,其汙染源經行政院原子能委員會介入調查發現為建築鋼筋受到鈷六十的污染,隨即公佈發現國內第一起輻射汙染建築物事件。此一重大輻射曝露事件,對於國人造成健康長期影響,影響層面更涉及國人對於建築物的輻射安全充滿疑慮。
本研究參酌相關文獻建議未來在評估輻射汙染建築物劑量時,除了必須將空間所賦予的用途劃分之外,並搭配模擬軟體Megashield 計算出輻射鋼筋所造成的空間劑量,在此雙重驗證後獲得居民之個人劑量再進行輻射致癌風險評估,此結果可信度較高且符合一般人實係活動情形之外,對於國人而言亦符合人民的要求與期待,使其得以安心。

英文摘要

As of 2000, 180 building with 1600 housing units were confirmed contain 60Co-contaminated rebars. Thousands of inhabitants had been exposed to ionizing radiation of various degrees. The long-tern health effects of exposed residents are yet to be observed through further investigation.
The aim of this study was to recommend the assessment dose methods of radiation contamination of buildings, in addition to division the use of space, and calculate space radiation dose with simulation software Megashield. In this double verification, we can obtain more accurate resident individual doses. Further, the result can assessment of the
radiation induces cancer risk. This result is higher confidence and in accordance with people activities on normal case.
This is consistent with the requirements and expectations of the people, and makes them more at ease.
