本文旨在介紹一個運用於LTE通訊協定層軟體之系統相容性測試的測試工具：LTER。要驗證通訊協定層軟體是否與標準規格相符的方式主要是透過系統相容性測試，也因此如何在開發初期進行系統相容性測試對於通訊協定層軟體的開發者而言是一個重要的課題。而建置一個標準規格所採用的TTCN-3測試系統難以適用於開發的早期階段，因此便需要自行開發替代的測試方案。而此測試工具不僅可運用於LTE基地台通訊協定層軟體的系統相容性測試， 所開發的測試案例程式亦可重複利用來驗證相同通訊協定層的不同實作上。

This article is to introduce a testing tool for the conformance testing of LTE protocol layer software: LTER. To verify whether the communication protocol layer conforms to the specification, it is mainly through
conformance testing. Therefore it is an important issue for developers of the communication protocol to perform conformance testing in the early stage. While building a TTCN-3 test system seems not applicable,
the alternative test solution is necessary. This in-house developed testing tool is not only used during the development of LTE eNB communication protocol software, but the written test code running on LTER can be
reused in verification of other software implementation of the same communication protocol layer.
