本研究主旨在於提升人們對於全球氣候與環境問題的關心與重視,藉由Google Earth的GIS圖層配合雲端KML資料,整合運用Microsoft Kinect SDK開發技術,撰寫一套可進行全球氣候雲端資訊查詢及語音操控導覽的體感互動整合系統。以往的體感操控應用,多半侷限於遊戲領域,隨著Kinect SDK開發套件的開放,讓體感互動不再只侷限於娛樂,尤其在教育與導覽的方面更成為近來探討的焦點。本研究利用體感互動程式結合Google Earth應用為主軸,以使用者的身體骨架來操控Google Earth,讓使用者猶如身歷其境。為了提高使用的人性化和互動性,本系統加入了語音辨識技術,讓使用者可採用語音指令來導覽Google Earth中的各個景點,再藉由雲端技術即時擷取全球氣候與環境資訊的KML資料,開發出一套可應用於全球氣候與環境雲端資訊導覽及查詢的系統。本系統可廣泛應用在天文地理教學、主題展館導覽、國內外氣候資訊查詢、全球森林資源查詢,亦或是全球氣候變遷暖化議題的相關會議場合當中,此系統應可提供更直觀及人性化的控制介面。

英文摘要

In order to enhance the care and attention for global climate and environmental issues, in this works, we use GIS layer in Google Earth, Cloud KML data, and Microsoft Kinect technology to develop a motion sensing system for cloud information inquiry and voice navigation. In the past, motion sensing technology was mostly used to the field of game. With the releasing of the Kinect SDK development kit, the technology is no longer confined to entertainment and can be also used for education and navigation. In our developed system, users can use the body motion to manipulate Google Earth. In order to improve the user-friendly and interaction with users, the speech recognition technology is also used in our system. Users can use voice commands to navigate the various scenic spots in Google Earth. Then, we develop an inquiry and navigation system to capture the global climate and environmental information in real time by the cloud KML technology. The developed system can be widely used in the teaching of astronomy and geography, the exhibition navigation, climate information query, and forest resources query.
