椬梧濕地(營建署編號TW054)位在雲林縣台17線以西、牛挑灣溪與北港溪ロ之間,佔地1,857公頃,屬地方級濕地面積最大者。本研究依據濕地生物多樣性監測系統標準作業流程,於2012年進行本濕地首次正式調査。地景評估顯示本區約有1,300公頃陸域面積,包含一個125公頃的滯洪池,主要使用標的爲農業;棲地快速評估的結果顯示渠道水泥化嚴重;密集現地評估的結果發現,雖然河口物理環境因子有利硝化作用,有利外傘頂洲附近的沿海養殖業,可是上游尙未管控的工業汚染物質,也鲁ー倂排出衝撃海洋生態;生物群集分析的結果顯示,鳥類中因無優勢物種,岐異度與均勻度高於豐度與優勢度,而蝶類、兩棲與爬蟲類、哺乳類則反之。本研究建議,若要恢復濕地應有的水質浄化功能,首先考慮去水泥化,同時發展漂浮防災社區;另就現有生態資源長期規劃,考慮將成龍、椬梧、鰲鼓濕地合併成ー國際級濕地,以兼顧生活、生産、生態的理想。

英文摘要

Yiwu Wetland (Construction and Planning Agency TW054) is located at the west of Road 17 and between Oxbow Creek and Beigang River. It occupies 1,857 ha, of local importance. This study followed the Standard Operation Procedures for Biodiversity Monitoring System in Wetlands and conducted the first formal survey in
2012. Landscape assessment showed that there are around 1,307 ha of land area, including a 125 ha of detention pond. Agriculture is the major land use type. Habitat rapid assessment indicated serious concretization of drainage channels. Intensive site assessment concluded that, although the environmental factors at the river mouth are in favor of nitrification which is beneficial to the aquaculture, the upstream pollutants posed serious impact on the marine ecology. Because there lacked dominant species in birds, the diversity and evenness indices were higher than the richness and dominance indices. Therefore, if the wetland is to restore to its function of purifying water, the concrete channels should be diminished. However, taking account of livelihood, production and ecology altogether, we should seriously consider merging Chenlong, Yiwu and Aogu Wetlands of local importance into a wetland of international importance.
