幹細胞研究最常為人詬病的缺點與爭議，主要在於細胞的來源與取得過程中是否會傷害胚胎無辜的生命。如何能發揮幹細胞研究的優點與長處，又能兼顧尊重生命的精神並強調生命教育的意義，將是一個重要的議題；本研究分別就幹細胞發展、幹細胞研究倫理與幹細胞研究法律三面向，針對醫學院學生作問卷調查，研究結果顯示在不犧牲生命的前提下幹細胞研究受到相當程度的支持，但是幹細胞研究相關的倫理議題與法律規範仍有待進一步的推廣與制定，胚胎幹細胞的實驗方法與技術將被全面取代。

There is a controversy over the research on stem cells: whether an embryo will be harmed during the process of cell dissection. Hence, the study, which involves the development of stem cell, the research ethic, and the enactment of stem-cell research, will focus on the advantage of stem-cell research in terms of the value of life. The questionnaire survey on the students in the medical college shows that most of the students are in favor of the stem-cell research under the condition of the value of life. However, the regulation of the research and the promotion of ethic still should be improving. The technique and the experimentation of embryonic stem-cell research will be substituted.
