本文探討小兒內科病房中幼兒之住院壓力源，及其面對不同急性壓力來源時，生理及心理會出現的壓力反應。藉由參與觀察方式收集並分析三位幼兒的住院反應，結果發現幼兒的壓力有分離焦慮、失去控制力及身體傷害與疼痛等，因此筆者藉由相關之文獻查證與案例分析提出增加親屬的支持、以幼童的角度去聆聽和用幽默的口吻和其對話、繪畫治療、遊戲和音樂治療等減低幼兒壓力因應方法，過程中成功協助病童緩解住院壓力，並使病童能接受治療與護理。筆者在此護理過程中深刻體會到護理人員保持適當態度，依據病童的身心發展特質提供有效的因應策略，將有助於幼兒紓解住院所面臨的各種壓力及讓病童接受治療與護理。

This article discusses toddlers' hospitalized stressors, and their physical and psychological stress reactionswhen facing different acute stressors. By participating in, observing and analyzing three toddlers' hospitalized reaction, the results demonstrate that the toddlers have separation anxiety, loss of control, physical injury and pain. Thus, we propose to promote family support, to listen from the toddler view, and to use humor attitude and related therapeutic play. In the nursing process, we could realize profoundly that keeping the suitable manner, and providing effective coping strategies based on characteristics of children with physical and mental development may be helpful in relieving the toddlers' hospitalized stress and making them accept the nursing intervention.
