The article deals with the thematic distribution of loanwords from English in the speech of Russian-speaking gamers, computer game developers and game editors. The analysis shows that most of these words refer to several topic areas related to the activities of the speakers. The most numerous thematic groups are pointed out. The presupposition is regarding a relationship between the type of the discussed game and the number of loan words in the speech of the forum participants discussing it. The analysis of the number and topical reference of loan words used in the discussion of different types of games is carried out.
