中文摘要
海灣島是印度的植物多樣性熱點之一，由於芭蕉屬系統分類資訊的貧乏，因此這也是印度眾多芭蕉屬分類關係未解的地區之一。本文基於文獻回顧以及對形態特徵之觀察，發表了海灣島上的芭蕉屬新種 Musa Indandamanensis，並提供分類描述及手繪圖。此物種為分布在小安達曼群島森林區域的極稀有物種。
英文摘要
In the present study Musa indandamanensis L. J. Singh is described and illustrated as a new species from Little Andaman, the Bay Islands, India.
