目的:本研究以睡眠相關問卷對台灣某工廠員工進行調查,探討輪班對一般睡眠品質、嗜睡與打鼾的影響。材料與方法:研究對象為某工廠之員工,以橫斷性、隨機取樣的方法由14,725 名員工中隨機取樣1719 人(11.7%) 發放匹茲堡睡眠品質量表(Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index, 簡稱PSQI)、嗜睡問卷(Epworth Sleepiness Scale, 簡稱ESS) 以及打鼾問卷(Snore Outcomes Survey, 簡稱SOS),由受訪者自行填答。描述性統計以個數及百分比呈現,另以T 檢定(t-test)、卡方檢定(chi-square) 進行統計分析。結果:回收問卷1701 份,回收率99.0%。受訪者平均年紀45.7±7.5 歲,男性佔96.1%(1634 人)。嚴重打鼾發生率為12.1% (打鼾問卷得分55 以下,151 人),嚴重嗜睡發生率為11.9% (嗜睡問卷得分12 以上,150 人)。本研究進一步比較輪班對服用提神飲料(食品) 的影響,發現輪班員工多以含咖啡因飲料提神(p<0.05);輪班員工的一般睡眠狀況、嗜睡與打鼾症狀表現均較正常上班員工為差(p<0.05)。結論:本研究以完整信效度評估的睡眠相關問卷對台灣某化學工廠的員工進行睡眠品質調查,我們發現輪班可能是主要造成睡眠障礙、嗜睡與打鼾的危險因子。建議企業應關注輪班問題以提升員工身體健康。

英文摘要

Objectives: To investigate the impacts of shift-work on general sleep quality, day-timesleepiness, and snoring problems of employees of a Taiwanese factory using sleep-related surveys.Materials and Methods: The cross-sectional cohort studywas conducted using 1719 (of 14,725,11.7%) randomly selected employees from a factory. The Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI),Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), and Snore Outcomes Survey (SOS) were administered.Descriptive data are shown as the number (%). Statistical analyses were conducted using unpairedt-test and Chi-squared test. Results: The survey return rate was 99.0% (N = 1701) (including1634 males, 96.1%). The mean age of interviewed employees was 45.7 ± 7.5 years. Severe snoringoccurred in 151 (SOS < 55, 12.1%) and severe daytime sleepiness in 150 (ESS > 12, 11.9%). Caffeinecontainingsoft drinks were commonly used by shift-workers (p < 0.05). Shift-workers performedmore poorly in terms of general sleep quality and sleepiness, and had more snoring problems (p <0.05). Conclusions: The study shows that shift-work is a risk factor for sleep dysfunction,daytime sleepiness, and snoring problems. Factory owners should pay more attention to shiftwork-related problems to enhance employee health.
