前言：體外震波碎石(ESWL) 對腎及輸尿管的治療效果已被公認。HMTLithotronLIT 170 碎石機擁有完整的火花放電震波技術、200mm 的耦合面(Ellipsoid diameter)、10mm×53mm的焦點和150mm的穿透深度，震波能量從14KV~28KV。我們提出在台北某區域級醫院使用HMT Lithotron LIT 170 lithotriptor 之六年治療經驗，將其結果分析並與其他廠牌的機器作一比較。方法：2389 名腎臟或輸尿管結石病患接受HMTLithotron LIT 170 lithotriptor 的治療，我們收集了相關的資料，包含石頭大小、位置、成功率、併發症等等，並加以分析。結果：2389 名病患中，腎臟結石有1659 位(69.4%)，輸尿管結石頭有730 位(30.6%)。腎臟結石中，20.3%位於腎盂，腎臟上方、中部和下方各佔19.3%, 26.9%, 和33.3%。輸尿管結石中， 58.6% 是在上段輸尿管, 而23.3% 和18.1% 位於中段和和下段輸尿管。大部分結石小於1 cm (67.7%) 。平均震波次數是2168，平均治療時間是29.8 分鐘。所有完成追蹤的病患中，治療成功率為89.6%，其中含68.8%結石清除和20.8%術後結石碎片小於0.3cm。治療有效商數(EQ) 是0.62。結論：HMT Lithotron LIT 170 lithotriptor 對腎臟和輸尿管結石有極佳的治療效果，和其他的碎石機相比毫不遜色。

Multiple studies support the clinical value of extracorporealshock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for the treatment of symptomatic urolithiasis. The HMTLithotron LIT 170 is a fine modular, portable spark gap lithotriptor with an ellipsoid diameter of200 mm and a focal zone dimension of 10×53 mm with 150-mm penetration; it can deliver 14~28kV of power. We report our 6 years of experience with this lithotriptor for renal and ureteralcalculi.0 HWKRGV A retrospective review of 2389 patients with urolithiasis treatedwith theHMTLithotron LIT 170 lithotriptor from 2000 to 2005 was undertaken. Data were obtained for stonelocation, stone size, shockwave usage, the total success rate, and complications.5HVXOWV In total,2389 patients were treated with this lithotriptor. Of these stones, 69.4% were located in thekidney, and 30.6% were confined to the ureter. Of the renal stones, 20.3% were in the renal pelvis,whereas upper, middle, and lower pole stones accounted for 19.3%, 26.9%, and 33.3%, respectively.Of ureteral stones, 58.6% were in the proximal ureter, compared with 23.3% and 18.1% in themiddle and distal ureter, respectively. The majority (67.7%) of stones were less than 1 cm[ indiameter?]. The average number of shocks appliedwas 2168. Average treatment timewas 29.8min.Of those patients that completed follow-up, 89.6% achieved total success, with 68.8% being stonefree and 20.8% having fragments of < 0.3 cm[ in diameter?]. The efficiency quotient was 0.62. Treatment of renal and/or ureteral stones in selected patients with the HMTLithotron LIT 170 lithotriptor is appropriate. The total success rate and efficiency quotient wereconsistent with those of other available lithotriptors.
