英文摘要
This case report presents an identified patient (IP) whose presenting symptoms met DSMIV'sdiagnostic criteria for schizoaffective disorder. By viewing the presenting problems as residingneither solely in the IP nor in the parents, the Bowenian family system offers a refreshing way todecentralize severe symptom complexes and to contextualize them to one's family system. TheBowenian perspective was utilized as the basis for the present case formulation and treatment.
