台灣經濟隨著科技產業的蓬勃發展，產業結構加速轉型，國內物流相關業者近年快速成立或發展，對物流人才需求十分迫切，然而台灣的物流競爭力遠低於貿易競爭力，政府已將國際物流列為十大服務業發展項目，為掌握國內物流人才需求狀況，提供政府單位適時採取必要的人力策略，滿足產業發展之人力需求，有利台灣國際物流產業發展，為本研究之主要目的。所以，本研究針對國際物流人力資源進行系統性研究與追蹤，進行人才需求質量分析。在人才需求量化分析方面，研究顯示國際物流產業未來三年之人力需求屬於增加的狀態；在人才需求質化分析方面，了解國際物流業在選才時對於各項職能認同重要度是超過對現職員工各職能的滿意度，顯示現職員工的表現尚無法達到業者選才的要求。因此，不論是初階或中高階等人才，均須持續不斷的精進各項職能條件，提升物流人才及物流專業水準的培養，為我國物流業現階段發展的重要課題。

Taiwan's economy is accelerating with the booming technology industry and the industrial structures are quickly being transformed as a result. Therefore, in recent years, a very urgent demand for businesses that offer logistics professionals has developed. However, Taiwan's logistics companies are not as strong as the trade companies. The government has classified international logistics as the top ten service sector development projects. The main purpose of this research was to get domestic logistics manpower demand information. Additional purposes were to provide the necessary manpower strategies for government and to meet the manpower needs of industry development, to be conducive to the industrial development of Taiwan's international logistics. Therefore, this research systematically studied and tracked human resources for international logistics. It found that the manpower needs of the international logistics industry are increase in the next three years. The study uses the important-performance analysis nhmethod to understand the level of difference between the importance and satisfaction of selected aspects from the business managers’ perspectives. Therefore, each level talent required to continue sophistication of the various functions to enhance the cultivation of logistics manpower and logistics professional standards, It’s very important issues for the current stage of development of the logistics industry in Taiwan.
