中文摘要

鑑於「課程做為美學文本」已經成為當代的重要課程論述之一,而「另類學校」可促進教育演化,本研究主要檢視另類教育及課程美學的理論建構與實踐經驗,期能爬梳出可做為主流學校及未來教育改革的建議。基於課程美學不同探究的重點,本研究選擇道禾實驗學校,探討其課程美學的特色及其推廣應用的可能性。 本研究首先檢視及評述另類學校及課程美學的理論基礎,並探討其實踐的問題。本研究以文獻探究、文件分析及案例分析為主,且兼以訪談、觀察及合作行動研究等方式進行,以檢視課程美學實踐的適切性及效用。研究結果從道禾實驗學校課程美學實踐的經驗,省思學校教育的另一可能性,為當前訴求績效與競爭力的工具理性所主導的教育思維,提供一條不同課程實踐的道路。

英文摘要

“Curriculum as aesthetic text” becomes one of the significant discourse in contemporary curriculum study, and the idea of “alternative school” facilitates educational changes in particular. The main purpose of this study is to analyze theoretical construction and practical experience of alternative education and curriculum aesthetic, and this study will propose certain suggestion for mainstream. school and future education reform. Through relevant reviews about divergent approaches in the curriculum aesthetic, this study chooses alternative Natural Way Children's School(道禾實驗學校)as an example, to analyze the concrete practical experiences of curriculum aesthetic at Natural Way Children’s School in Taiwan. In the beginning, this study will review and evaluate the theoretical foundation about alternative education and curriculum aesthetic, and then discuss relevant problems for praxis. Research method in this study includes literature review and document analysis in the major way and interview and observation and in the mirror way. This study also use collaborative action research to analyze the appropriation and effectiveness of the curriculum aesthetic praxis. The main purpose of this study to reflect the alternative possibility for school education from the praxis of curriculum aesthetic at Natural Way Children's School and provide alternative approach to think education under the ideology of instrumental rationality.
