本研究旨在探討國中校長多元型模領導與教師的工作壓力、學校生活適應的因素結構,以及其間之關聯。研究者以高雄市646名國中教師為研究對象,利用自編之「校長多元型模領導量表」、「教師工作壓力量表」及「教師學校生活適應量表」蒐集實證資料,首先利用驗證性因素分析判斷各變項的因素結構,再採用結構方程模式與逐步多元迴歸進行路徑分析。研究結果顯示:一、所有變項均是二階多因素的心理構念;二、校長多元型模領導可藉由教師工作壓力之部分中介而影響教師之學校生活適應;三、校長多元型模領導中的教學領導與政治領導,是促使教師減少工作壓力,並形成良好學校生活適應的主因。根據研究發現,研究者對國中校長之領導實務與教師的壓力因應與學校適應等議題加以討論,並提出未來研究建議。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to explore the factorial structures of principals’ multiframe leadership, teachers’ work stress, and school life adjustment and to investigate their relationships. The data were collected through questionnaires from a sample of 646 junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung City. The major instruments for this study included Principals Multi-frame Leadership Scale, Teachers Work Stress Scale, and Teachers School Life Adjustment Scale. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied to ensuring the factorial structures, and then structural equation modeling (SEM) and stepwise regression were applied to making the path analysis. The results revealed: 1. All variables were second-order and multi-factors psychological constructs; 2. Teachers’ work stress was a partial mediated variable between principals’ multi-frame leadership and teachers’ school life adjustment; 3. Instructional leadership and political leadership are the main contributors to reducing teachers’ work stress and enhancing their school life adjustment. Implications of this study for principals’ leadership practice and teachers’ stress coping and school adjustment were discussed, and suggestions for future studies were made.
