中文摘要
1.各種遊樂活動可能對風景遊憩區之生態環境，包括植群、土壤、動物及水等因子造成程度不一之衝擊，遊樂衝擊之研究為發展戶外遊憩事業與提倡自然資源保育時應予重視的課題。
2.遊憩對資源之衝擊在空間上並不是逢機發生，而呈現出集中並可預湖之空間型態，大部份的衝擊多局限在某些步道及遊憩目的地上。
3.營地上有三種不同的衝擊分布：(1)衝擊區，(2)殃及區，及(3)緩衝區，各有不同的衝擊程度與因應之道。
4.大部份的植群及土壤衝擊與時間成一拋物線而非線性之關係。植群的干擾與土壤緊壓化在使用開始數年間非常激烈，爾後之增加非常緩慢，然而有些衝擊，如區域的擴張，則隨著時間持續惡化。
英文摘要
Research on the recreational impacts and their management techniques is an important task for managers to compromise between the desire to provide resources for recreational use and the wish to preserve their ecological integrity. This paper reviews the ecological impacts of visitor activities on the sites of scenic area, and explores the nature of spatial and temporal patterns of impacts on trails and campsites in detail. Finally, some strategies that might be used to mitigate the ecological impacts are suggested for the managers.
