本研究以臺北市立動物園鳥園區的大鳥籠為研究地點,並以解說摺頁對遊客參觀時之「停留時間」、「行為」、「體驗」及「學習效果」等方面之影響,來探討解說摺頁的解說效果,並採用人員提供的方式進行研究。研究結果顯示,在停留時間方面,有無解說摺頁對假日遊客參觀時之停留時間的確造成差異,且有摺頁者之停留時間大於無摺頁者,但非假日的遊客則並不因有無摺頁而有所差異“在遊客行為方面,有無解說摺頁對遊客「教小孩或與他人討論」、「手指著鳥類」、「尋找鳥類」之行為會造成差異,且有加強的效果。但在「靜靜地看」、「發出聲響或動作吸引鳥類注意」、「餵食」、「笑」、「拍照或攝影」及「看解說牌」上則無差異。在遊客體驗方面,有無解說摺頁在「有趣好玩的」、「美的」兩項體驗上確有差異並有加強之效,而在「充實的」、「身歷其境的」、「愉快的」、「輕鬆的」及「豐富的」上則無顯著差異。在學習效果的總分方面,「無小孩同行之家庭成員」、「有小孩同行之家庭成員」及「朋友」會受有無解說摺頁之影響。而其他如「學校團體」、「觀光或工商團體」等則無顯著差異。

英文摘要

This study explores the interpretive effect of an interpretative brochure by measuring the influence about visitors in four aspects including the duration of visitor staying, behavior, experience and the effect of learning. Taipei Zoo is the site of this study, and the brochure is delivered free. The results are as follows: First, on holidays, there is significant difference between the visitors with and without interpretative brochure by comparing the duration of visitor staying The length of staying of the visitor with brochure is longer than who without brochure, There is no significant difference on weekday visitors, Second, there are significant differences between the visitors with and without interpretative brochures by comparing the behavior such as "teaching children or discussing with some else," "pointing toward birds" and "looking for birds," and the interpretative brochure reinforces these behavior. There are no differences in the behavior such as "concentrate quietly," "doing something to attract birds," "feeding," "laughing," "photographing" and "looking at outdoor exhibit" Third, there are significant differences between the visitors with and without interpretative brochures by comparing the experiences of "interesting" and "beautiful," and the interpretative brochure reinforces the experiences. There are no differences in the experiences of "enriched," "experienced personally," "pleasant," "relaxed" and "abundant." Fourth, the score of distinguishing bird species is reinforced by interpretative brochures in the group of "family" and "friends".
