休間潛水爲國內漸爲盛行的一項活動，但有關的研究仍十分匱乏。本研究的主要目的在探討國內休閒潛水者對潛水風險的了解情況以及遵守風險管理項目的程度，並探討個人發生傷害的情形；其次探討潛者性別、個人潛水史對風險管理項目了解程度的影響。本研究根據相關文獻整理出休閒潛水的風險計有1.潛在風險（減壓症等15項）及2.環境風險（水流等8項）兩大類。在管理方面則有1.自我管理（教育訓練、潛水計晝等20項）及2.外在管理（裝備檢查等12項）兩類。本研究以問卷爲調查工具，採滾雪球抽樣方式對台灣地區北部、中部、南部及離島（綠島、蘭嶼、澎湖）的潛水者進行測試，共取得359份有效問卷，資料分析利用SPSS套裝軟體進行結果的描述與研究假設之驗證。本研究所得到的主要結論如下：1.國內休閒潛水者對風險管理項目的了解程度高，其發生傷害的程度不高。2.休間潛水者對風險管理項目了解程度越高，其遵守程度也越高03.休間潛水者對於會造成嚴重危害之風險項目，其遵守管理項目的程度較高04.越了解風險管理項目之休間潛水者，其發生事故的頻率也越高。5.男性與女性對風險管理的了解及遵守程度有少部分差異。

Recreational scuba diving is one of the most popular activities in Taiwan. However, the study on recreational scuba diving has been deficient. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to identify recreational scuba divers' extent of understanding about risk of diving and their obedience of items of internal and external management. Diver's gender and diving history was assumed as factors affecting diver's perceptions on items of risk management. A questionnaire was applied to collect data, and samples were selected by snowball sampling method in this study. According to literature review, the questionnaire consisted of two categories. One category was the diving risks, and the other was the items of risk management. The datas were analyzed by SPSS. The conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. Recreational scuba divers highly recognized the items of risk management, so the stress of injury that happened was not high. 2. The more the recreational scuba divers' understand items of risk management, the higher the obedience to management. 3. Recreational scuba divers have higher obedience of management on those risk items, which may cause of serious injury. 4. The more the recreational scuba divers' understand items of risk management, the higher rate of injury. 5. There were few significant differences found within gender as regard to understanding items of risk management and the obedience of management.
