Among the silk texts unearthed at Mawangdui, there are four important lost sections by Daoists written on the same piece of silk. The last line of the second section contains a heading "Ten *A Classics" ("*A" represents the graph to be discussed in this article). The interpretation of this heading has aroused hot debate among scholars who still cannot achieve a consensus. The controversy revolves around three main issues: (1) How many chapters are there in the "Ten *A Classics"? (2) How should we interpret the word "*A" in this heading? (3) How do we analyze the syntax of this heading? This paper offers some conclusions obtained by a re-exploration of these issues: (1) "Ten *A Classics" consists of fifteen chapters; (2) "*A" in this heading is the character Da大; and (3) The heading "Ten *A Classics" is made up of two headings at different levels-- the first half is the heading of the last chapter, while the second half is the heading of the whole section.
