中文摘要

為探討都市汙染處理廠再生水之安全性,本研究選用三種基因毒性測試,包括沙門氏回復突變試驗、哺乳類動物染色體畸變試驗以及嚙齒動物微核試驗,針對都市汙染處理廠放流水再生設備之產水(再生水),在基因及細胞層級上可能造成之影響進行初步評估。沙門氏回復突變試驗結果顯示再生水樣對菌株無致突變性;以哺乳類動物染色體畸變試驗顯示再生水樣均未造成小鼠骨髓細胞產生微核,且多染紅血球內的微核比例未有增加。未來仍有需要進一步評估長期暴露於再生水對人體及生態環境造成之潛在毒性效應。

英文摘要

Owing to the concerns on the safety of reclaimed water, this study applied 3 genetoxicity assays to evaluate the potential toxic effects of reclaimed water produced from the municipal wastewater treatment plant effluent. The results of Ames test showed there was no significant difference between the strains exposed to reclaimed water and the tap water, implying the reclaimed water would not result in mutation to the strains. The mammalian chromosome exposed to reclaimed water showed no aberration effects. Also, there was no micronucleus formed in the mice marrow erythrocytes exposed to the reclaimed water. The results of genetoxicity test showed there were no significant toxic effects between negative control group and the experimental groups (reclaimed water and its concentrated samples). The long-term potential toxicological impacts to human body as well as ecosystem require further investigations.
