永續發展教育近年備受關注,成為新興之重要研究議題。本研究旨在了解國民小學推動永續發展教育之現況,包含課程主題、課程安排、教學與評量方式、面臨之困境與改進方向等。本研究採問卷調查法,以「國家教育研究院101年國民小學主任儲訓班」之328名儲訓學員為研究樣本;研究工具為自編之「永續發展教育相關議題問卷」;資料分析採描述性統計與變異數分析等統計方法。研究發現包括:國民小學永續教育發展的課程主題,以「永續能源」、「氣候變遷」、「資源再利用」、「自然保護」和「災害防救」五項最具重要性;以及「問題導向教學」在永續教育發展之教學最具重要性;以及「問題導向教學」為永續發展教育之最重要教學方式等七點,並針對研究發現提出七點建議,包括國民小學推動永續發展教育之課程內涵,宜包括永續社會、永續環境和永續經濟等。

英文摘要

Education for sustainable development has become a rising issue in recent years due to its crucial status of worldwide concern. The study explores the picture of the current situation of education for sustainable development (ESD), including curricula themes, curriculum arrangement, instruction and assessment, challenges and difficulties, and its future development. This study adopted a questionnaire conducted to 328 participants, being as elementary school director trainees in 2012. By using descriptive statistics, inferential analysis, and ANOVA, the research findings categorized into five important themes, including sustainable energy, climate change, recycling, conservation, and prevention. Then a follow-up instruction was developed to ESD based on the problem-based learning. Finally, seven suggestions are offered in this study that the curriculum of ESD should consist of sustainable community, sustainable environment, and sustainable economy.
