中文摘要

在資本主義全球化的脈絡下,產生了全球遷移的現象,移民者的教育問題成為教育發展的主軸之一。近年臺灣人口結構上亦產生重大變化,新移民及其子女已在臺灣人口結構上成為重要的群體,有必要發展系統性的教育措施,以對新移民及其子女進行協助與輔導。目前我國針對新移民教育的相關研究仍偏重於國內社會現況的研究,少有研究以國際角度出發,是以,本文以移民理論為基礎,對國際移民教育研究結果進行分析,同時探究國際移民教育制度與措施,以做為我國移民教育發展籌謀對策之借鏡。

英文摘要

In recent years, issues related to foreign spouses from Southeast Asia and China have become a major focus in Taiwan. Helping these new immigrations and their children to adapt the mainstream society has been a consensus in academia and the government. Thus, various tactics and strategies based on the assimilationist perspective have been widely discussed and adopted. The assimilationist perspective implies that ethnic minority takes the primary responsibility for harmonious ethnic relations. However, the attitudes of majority towards minority play a more decisive role. Based on the pluralist perspective, the purposes of this article are to explore immigrant concept and implement.
