本文之目的首先即在於分析「能力取向理論」內涵以及「正義即基本能力平等」之基本論旨,其次則是析論當代「能力取向理論」之研究組織、專業期刊與學術年會之發展,另外也評介「能力取向理論」對國際高等教育應用研究之成果。相較於國際「能力取向理論」研究早已蔚為一股重要思潮之際,對照國際研究與教育應用之豐富成果,國內學術界顯然對此所知仍極其有限,本文最後檢視國內教育公平研究現況與可能侷限,希望能藉此指出國內應強化「能力取向理論」研究之國際接軌做為未來教育研究發展重點之一。
The purpose of this paper is to first analyze the meaning of the Capability Approach Theory along with the idea of “Justice as Basic Capability Equality.” Second, it provides an analysis of contemporary "Capability Approach Theory” research development and its impact on higher educational researches. Contrary to the international “Capability Approach Theory” research which has for long established itself as an important trend of thought, knowledge of the extensive international study-related achievements is still very limited in Taiwan. Therefore, this article ultimately looks into the current situation of Taiwan educational equity research together with its possible limitations, and thereby looks forwards to strengthening these prospective studies so as to reduce the academic internationalization gapbetween Taiwan and advanced countries.
