中文摘要

金屬射出成型是改善傳統粉末冶金缺點而發展出來的新興技術, 用於製造各種複雜形狀之產品,過去影響的品質,主要依賴經驗累積與及數次試誤。本研究探討精密金屬牙齒矯正器利用 CAE軟體之模流分析及射出成型模式,以數值解析方式配合實驗,尋找最佳製程條件與模具設計。主要藉由 Moldex3D 軟體進行不同的流道設計、材料、熔膠溫度、充填壓充填時間的模擬分析。由分析結果得知,射出成型製程較佳化參數為熔膠溫度180°C、保壓力121MPa、充填時間1.5秒、模溫35°C,期翹曲變型量0.2mm。比較射出壓力與翹曲位移量值,再將分析結果回饋給現場進行成品的品質改善,並經牙齒矯正器成型實例驗證,搭配模流分析軟體 Moldex3D,金屬射出成型,確實有效地達成減少模具成本,滿足產業界對產品的品質、速度和經菌性的要。

英文摘要

Metal Injection Molding (MIM), which is used to manufacture various and complex shapes of products, is a newly emerged technology to improve the shortcomings of the traditional power metallurgy. From the beganning, quality of MIM products mainly depented on trial and error tests. The pupposes of this study are to determine the optimization processing and to investigate mold design of metal braces by the mold flow analysis sofeware (Moldex3D) used to numerically simulate processing parameters such as injection presure, runner designs, material, melt temperatures, filling presures and time. Testing results show that the optimal conditions are set for the flling time 1.5 sec, melt temperatures 180 °C, mold temperatures 35 °C, and packing presssure 121 MPa in order to obtain warpage lessthan 0.2 mm. Therefore, this results can be provided to the injection machine operators to make sure better quality of the product achieved by dental braces comparison with software simulation and analysis to effectively cost down during mold development and to meet the customers' requirements on quality, speed and precision.
