趾間神經壓迫，亦稱為摩頓氏神經瘤，是一種腳趾間的陣發性神經痛。本病好發於女性，常與穿著較緊的鞋子或高跟鞋有闕，症狀包括腳趾麻木刺痛和遠端足部壓痛。本病例為46歲女性，發左足第二、三蹠趾關節處麻痛感放射至二、三趾約一周，以針刺配合病患衛教、外敷藥膏以及輔以中藥內服等方式治療，對於病患疼痛的緩解與生活品質，達到不錯的效果。

Intermetatarsal nerve entrapment, also called Morton's neuroma, is a paroxysmal neuralgia affecting the web spaces of the toes. The disease occurs in women and is commonly correlative with constricting footwear or high-heeled shoe. The clinical symptoms include numbness of toes, prickling and tingling at food endings. The patient is an age 46 female, who suffered from tingling around the web spaces of the left foot and numbness and pain radiating to the second and the third toe for one week. She was treated with acupuncture, herbal patch and Chinese medicine. Moreover, she received health education. The result demonstrated that the patient was relieved from pain and whose overall quality of life improved thus proving to be an effective method of treatment.
