背景與目的：目前在台灣有關醫療糾紛的研究中，針對物理治療人員的研究非常少見，藉由本研究以物理治療人員為研究樣本，探討物理治療人員發生醫療錯誤行為的發生相關類型與任職資歷。方法：本研究抽樣對象以台灣地區、澎湖縣及金門縣的物理治療人員為主，共計發出558份問卷。本研究問卷調查物理治療人員在醫療溝通、評估的錯誤方面和執行程序的錯誤方面醫療錯誤行為的發生比例、年資及探討物理治療中容易發生醫療錯誤的治療項目、物理治療人員任職資歷與院內投訴、醫療糾紛及醫療訴訟發生比例。結果：本研究結果發現在個人背景變項中，年齡與院內投訴具顯著差異。物理治療人員院內投訴、醫療糾紛及醫療訴訟發生比例得知，年資3年以下的發生比例最多。物理治療人員發生醫療溝通錯誤、評估的錯誤及執行程序的錯誤的頻率都是年資3年以下發生醫療錯誤較多。結論：提升病人安全的第一步是瞭解物理治療人員發生醫療錯誤行為的相關因素與類型，提供臨床實務醫院管理團隊政策參考依據和學校教育的改進與建議，讓民眾能夠獲得更安全、優質的就醫環境而恢復健康，提高醫療服務品質。

Background and Purpose: Currently in Taiwan-related medical malpractice study, research personnel for physical therapy is very rare, with this study, physical therapy staff as samples to explore physical therapists occurrence of acts of medical errors related types and seniority. Methods: The study sample objects to Taiwan, Penghu and Kinmen County-based physical therapy staff, a total of 558 questionnaires were sent. The study questionnaire physical therapy personnel in the medical communication, assessment errors and in implementing the program error aspects of medical errors from happening proportion of seniority and explore the physical therapy prone to medical errors in treatment programs, physical therapy staff seniority and hospital complaints, medical malpractice and medical litigation occurs ratio. Results: The results of this study found that different personal background and medical adverse events with significant differences. The proportion of hospital complaints, medical malpractice and medical litigation of physical therapists is up to happen proportion for three years or less. The proportion of medical error about communication, physical evaluation and procedure of treatment is up to happen proportion for three years or less. Conclusion: Learning from mistakes is the first step in patient safety, physical therapists understand the behavior of medical errors related factors and types of surfaces provide clinical practice improvement and school education face advice and hospital management team with the reference of policy, so that people can get more secure, high-quality environment for medical treatment and to restore health and improve quality of care.
