隨著全球行動上網頻寬需求日益增加,世界各國的電信營運商都開始投入4G網路架設。為了舒緩無線網路壅塞,行動營運商同時也會利用WiFi網路進行資料分流,因此新一代的網路接取服務是多系統共存的多重網路服務。本論文實現一可支援2x2 MIMO (Multi-input Multi-output) TDD(Time-division Duplex;TDD) RoF (Radio over Fiber;RoF)系統,並使用CWDM (Coarse Wavelength DivisionMultiplexing;CWDM)技術,使2x2 MIMO之下行與上行共4路信號可同時傳輸於單一光纖中,以減少光纖使用數量。TDD-RoF系統只要調整收發控制技術即可提供不同TDD系統之服務, 如TD-LTE(Time-division Long-Term Evolution;TD-LTE)、WiMAX與WiFi等TDD系統,這些TDD系統搭配CWDM技術(比如說TD-LTE使用4個波長、WiMAX使用4個波長、WiFi使用4個波長)可將多重服務RoF系統在單一光纖中同時傳輸。但由於每個上下行路徑傳輸都需要一個雷射光源, 對於多重服務RoF系統共需要12組波長,因此將造成光電模組費用增加。為降低多重系統服務RoF之成本, 本論文進一步提出光梳整合RoF之前瞻技術。

英文摘要

The demand of large data bandwidth for global mobile internet data traffic is increasing day by day.The telecom operators all over the world start to deploy 4G networks. To release the wireless networkscongestion, the WiFi networks are widely adopted by operators for data offloading. Therefore, the futurewireless networks are multi-service networks which allow multiple systems coexisting to provide multiplenetwork access for users. In this paper, TDD(Time-division Duplex) RoF(Radio over Fiber) system isimplemented for 2x2 MIMO (Multi-input Multi-output) system. The CWDM (Coarse Wavelength DivisionMultiplexing) is applied to delivery the downlink and uplink signals of 2x2 MIMO (i.e. 4 different signals) insingle fiber simultaneously and reduce the required fibers of RoF system. For TDD-RoF system, the transceivercontrol technique is reconfigured to offer the different TDD system, e.g. TD-LTE (Time-division Long-TermEvolution), WiMAX, WiFi etc. Although the CWDM can be used to develop multi-service RoF system, e.g. 4wavelengths for TD-LTE, 4 wavelengths for WiMAX, 4 wavelengths for WiFi, it requires multiple laser sourcesfor each downlink and uplink path and vastly increases the cost of RoF systems. To reduce the cost ofmulti-service RoF systems, an optical frequency comb based RoF systems is further proposed.
