彌撒程序是理解彌撒音樂的基礎，除了從文字上獲得概念之外，還應該從彌撒實況的檢驗中體認。本文有十二場在奧地利舉行的彌撒實況的程序記錄，係來自具有取樣意義的教堂彌撒實況錄音的程序分析。錄音都轉製成Audio CD，並依程序內容的分析結果作軌段劃分，燒錄出來的CD-R可以連續直播到底或任選軌段播放。彌撒記錄的內容就是每一場彌撒的程序表，除了彌撒過程的每一項目或步驟之名稱、時間長短，尚有細節上的記載，例如某一項目是用唱的還是用唸的？內容是德文還是拉丁文？如此等等。最後，筆者整理出一個詳細的、含神職人員的禱文與不變部分的中譯歌詞，並附有說明的，且包含亡者彌撒的程序在內的彌撒程序表，做為探素彌撒程序與彌撒音樂的結論，也供作認識彌撒程序細節的參考。

The order of mass liturgy is the key for understanding the music of masses. Besides gaining a general understanding through text sources, it is also necessary to learn from investigating this music as mass is actually celebrated in churches. This essay analyzes the order of mass on the basis of a representative sample of 12 masses recorded on site in Austria. The recordings were transferred from tape to CD-R, with track divisions decided on the basis of the mass order and content. The CD-Rs may be played continuously to the end or selectively, in any order. Each mass's content is presented in a sequential chart that provides the name of each item or step, timings, and other details, such as whether an item is sung or recited, whether the language used is German or Latin, and so on. Finally, the author provides a detailed Chinese translation of the invariant parts of the lyrics, including the clergymen's prayers, together with explanations. The sequential charts of the masses, which include that of the Requiem Mass, conclude the exploration of mass liturgy and music, and they may serve as a detailed reference.
