口腔灼熱症候群是一種未知病因的慢性口內疼痛症候，可能與局部、系統性、精神方面及神經方面等因子是有關的。藉由詳細的病史詢問、口腔檢查、全身健康檢查與檢驗等方式可以逐一找出可能病因，以減少對這類患者嘗試性或錯誤的治療。
英文摘要
BMS is a chronic intraoral pain with unknown etiology, being associated with local, systemic, psychologic and neurologic factors. This study constituted a detailed interview, oral cavity inspection, general physical examination, and laboratory examinations to avoid any error and attempted treatment for patients suffering from this condition.
