本研究目的在了解中小學階段時,臺灣父母參與程度及子女學習成就之相關性。本研究針對18篇研究報告及29,141位研究對象進行後設分析。研究結果發現:一、臺灣父母參與及子女學習成就之平均效果量,具有正相關與中低度效果量;二、經同質性考驗後發現,效果量間的變異係受到父母的性別等變項的調節作用。文末針對臺灣本地實務工作及未來研究,提出各項具體相關建議。

英文摘要

The main purpose of this study was to synthesize the quantitative literature about the relationship between parental involvement and children’s learning achievement in Taiwan. A meta-analysis of 18 research studies with a combined sample of 29,141 participants was conducted. Results indicated that 1. A small to medium but positive correlation between parental involvement and children’s learning achievement was found; 2. Test of homogeneity was rejected, indicating significant variation among parents’ gender, and so on. Finally, some suggestions for counseling interventions and future researches were proposed.
