本研究考察電視新聞處理「網路消息來源」的策略,以瞭解「網友說」新聞的面貌。本研究採取內容研究法,分析商業台TVBS與公視新聞,並依據經驗資料提出可能的解釋。研究結果發現,TVBS播出的「網友說新聞」不論則數或時間,約是公視的十倍;且有近六成新聞完全使用匿名消息來源。不過,有部分匿名消息來源是因為網頁設計所造成,不見得是記者「偷懶」的結果;而網友言論的極端化,則可能是商業新聞台大量播出「網友說新聞」的主因。
This research aims at understanding how TV news channel strategically treat their news source of internet-users (i.e. netuser news) and its plausible reasons. By mainly applying content analysis, the author tries to compare the prime time news broadcasting of a commercial news channel ‘TVBS’ and the public channel ‘PTS’ in three months from March 1st to May 31st 2012. Major research findings include: firstly, TVBS broadcasts more net-user news than PTS on both time length and story numbers. Secondly, nearly 60 % of TVBS’ net-user news are based on anonymous sources. However, checking the details of the targeted news leads us to an interesting finding-- the webpage design is one of the main factors that makes large percentage net-user news sources as anonymous. This shows that anonymous source is not necessary equal to reporters' laziness as common argument indicates. Finally, net-users’ radicalized speech are more attractive to TV news production.
