本文主要的目的在於用哲學中的 “概念分析” (conceptual analysis) 方法來提供 一個可以區別play, games, sport, contest 及athletics等身體活動的進路, 主要著 眼點是從“規則” (rules) 的角度來看。這在過去的文獻當中是很少見的， 但 卻是一個很重要的因素來藉以區分遊戲與其它人類身體活動的特性。這也可 讓我們較清楚了解“規則” (rules) 在遊戲活動中所扮演的重要角色。

The purpose of this paper is to present a persuasive approach by using conceptual analysis to clarify sports-related activities through a key element – ‘rules’, which has not been thoroughly discussed before and which is an important element in making the distinction between games and physical-related activities. This helps us to understand the important role of rules in games.
