李蓋悌(György Ligeti, 1923-2006)是二十至二十一世紀最具原創精神與影響力的當代作曲家之一, 他追求各類實驗音響的創作帶給世人極大的震撼和驚喜,同時讓他獲得無數國際的作曲大獎。其中之一為 完成於1985年為鋼琴所作的第一冊練習曲。本研究將針對此作品的創作特徵作初步之探討,內容包括相關 文獻之探討、李蓋悌的生平事蹟、李蓋悌之創作經歷與特徵、以及第一冊練習曲探究。本研究將第一冊六 首練習曲的音型特徵、節奏架構、樂曲張力高峰之設計、以及彈奏重點等作分析。研究結果發現此六首練 習曲不但結合了非洲國家音樂中特有的繁音複節奏,還受到爵士樂之和聲、巴爾托克、德布西、甚至李斯 特的影響等,其音響特質與彈奏方法都獨具創意,是二十世紀最具代表性的鋼琴作品,非常值得學習與深 入了解。

英文摘要

Ligeti is one of the most original and influential composers between the 20th and 21st centuries. His works, that reflect various sound experiments, amazed his audiences and brought him many international composition awards. One of these works is his first book of etudes for piano. The main body of this paper is the examination of the first book of etudes. It contains chapters of discussion on related articles, Ligeti ´s biographical sketch, Ligeti´s composition and characteristics, and the analysis of the first book of etudes for piano. The analysis focuses on thematic patterns, rhythmic structures, design of musical climax, and performance suggestions of each etude. It was found that these etudes combine complex polyrhythm, harmonic pattern from Jazz music, and even the characteristics of Bartók, Debussy, and Liszt. Its original sound effect and new way of performance make each of these etudes unique and worthwhile to study within the modern piano repertoire.
