人的腳部會因為長時間在戶外走動，經過風吹、日曬、雨淋後造成腳部悶熱、不適，進而導致腳部受到細菌感染，產生香港腳等腳部疾病。若鞋內織物具有良好的抑菌效果，可使鞋內的細菌不再繼續滋生，達到腳部健康衛生的效果。本實驗以聚酯針軋不織布為基材，採用奈米銀抑菌劑，目的是為了尋找合適的加工條件，使不織布具有良好的抑菌效果亦節省成本，以提供業界作為製造參考依據。經由實驗觀察，未添加壓克力樹脂之抑菌劑在室溫下會產生褐色斑，有變色現象。本研究以金黃色葡萄球菌及肺炎桿菌測試其抑菌效果得到，60、90、120ppm之奈米銀抑菌劑添加及未添加壓克力樹脂之布樣上菌無大量孳生，皆有抑菌效果，但效果不明顯。
