人安全是全球普遍重視的重要醫療照護議題。組織的病人安全文化會影響病人的安全結 果,如:死亡率、不良事件( 如:給藥錯誤、跌倒、壓瘡) 與合併症發生率,以及延長住院日數。 護理領導者在促進病人安全擔任核心角色,轉換型領導可作為護理領導者運用於改善病人安全之 重要策略。本文主要探討護理領導者如何採用轉換型領導策略,帶領組織人員共同參與營造良好 的病人安全文化,提升病人的安全照護環境,以達到促進病人安全,增進護理品質。
Patient safety is a global important health-care issue. An organization’s patient safety culture will affect patient safety outcomes such as mortality, incident of adverse events (e.g. medication errors, falls, and pressure sores), prevalence of complications, and length of stay. Nursing leadership plays a central role in promoting patient safety. Transformational leadership is an important strategy by which nursing leaders can improve patient safety. This article explores nursing leaders’ adoption of a transformational leadership strategy to lead the organization’s personnel to participate in health care organizations to create a good patient safety culture, enhance patient safety care environment, and thereby, promote patient safety and enhance quality of care.
