本文報導一長喙殼菌Ophiostoma denticiliatum，此菌株自闊葉樹所分離，同時具有Pesotum及Sporothrix兩種無性態，符合O. piceae comple內的「闊葉水亞群」之特性，在遊ITS的所建立之親喙分析結果中，此菌株與O. quercus及 O. denticiliatum最接近。而由形態特徵來判斷，而由形態特徵來判斷，此菌株與O. denticiliatum最相似。 然而此菌株之Pesotum無性態產砲細胞具有明顯齒狀痕跡，為其獨有的特徵與其他長喙殼菌種類不同。因此在發現更多此菌之菌株、及促進其產生有性子囊殼做為形態比較前，暫將此菌株鑑定為O.denticiliatum。本文亦提 供此菌株照片、描述，及比較其與相近種類之親緣關像。

A new record of Ophiostoma, O. denticiliatum, is reported in Taiwan. The Taiwan material occurs on hardwood and has
both Pesotum and Sporothrix anamorphs, conforming to the characteristics of hardwood-inhabiting subgroup in O.
piceae complex. In the phylogenetic analysis based on ITS sequences, the Taiwan material exhibits the strongest affinity
to O. quercus and O. denticiliatum. By judging from the morphological characters, the Taiwan material is closer to O.
denticiliatum. However this Taiwan material is unique in having prominent denticles on sympodial conidiogenous cells
of synnematous Pesotum. Before more materials and sexual perithecia can be obtained, the fungus is best accommodated
in O. denticiliatum, pending the fungus for further studies. Illustration, description and phylogenic relationships with
closely related species for this fungus are provided.
