本文為協助一位罹患第2型糖尿病之大陸籍配偶，因害怕先生得知其罹患糖尿病後將其遣返，不敢至醫院追蹤治療，再加上缺乏對疾病的正確照護知識，導致合併泌尿道感染住院的護理過程，照護期間為99年12月22日至100年3月15日，在與個案會談、觀察及多次後續門診追蹤收集資料後，確立主要健康問題：（一）泌尿道感染/如廁習慣不佳與血糖控制不良有關；（二）焦慮/個案對疾病不了解且擔心先生嫌棄；（三）知識缺失/與糖尿病飲食有關。運用主動關懷，提供個別性衛教，並協助個案與先生對糖尿病有正確的觀念與接受其罹病的事實，以正向態度面對疾病，減輕個案心理壓力與提昇健康照護能力。

This study stated the nursing care of a foreign spouse with type 2 diabetes mellitus but without follow-up due to worried sending back Mainland China, also due to lack correct knowledge of caring diabetes which caused urinary tract infection. From December 22nd., 2010 to March 15th., 2011, the author conducted interviewing, observation and following clinical data to determine three major health problems: firstly, urinary tract infection is related to poor toileting habits and poor glycemic control; secondly, the patient lack of disease-related knowledge also worried abandonment of her husband; last, less diabetes diet knowledge. The author used active care, individual health education to help the patient and her husband have correct diabetic concepts. Finally encourage the patient with positive attitude, give support to release the psychological stress and enhance the health care ability.
