面對醫學教育面臨的挑戰,醫學模擬是解決目前困境的重要方法。透過醫學模擬,一方面可以提供學員有系統性的整合課程,提高學習效率﹔另一方面可以保障病人安全,提升醫療品質﹔此外醫學模擬也提供客觀的評核方式,作為臨床訓練評估的依據。醫學模擬的方式包括概念式的情境模擬、虛擬病人實境、部分技能模擬訓練、高擬真假人情境模擬等。各種方式各有其適當的教育目標、使用時機及所需要的資源。目前醫學模擬已經廣泛應用在醫學教育、技能訓練、表現評估、研究用途、儀器測試等領域。隨著科技的進展,醫學模擬在臨床技能的訓練上有更廣泛深入的應用,另一方面更需搭配整合性的課程規劃及師資埠訓,才能讓醫學模擬教育的成果落實在學習的成效上。

英文摘要

Medical simulation is one of the important solutions to current challenges in medical education. Through medical simulation, structured curriculum can be provided to trainees comprehensively. Patient safety can be ensured and quality of medical services can be promoted at the same time. In addition, medical simulation provides objective evaluation methods for clinical training assessment. Medical simulation includes concept simulation, virtual patient simulation, part-task training, and high-fidelity patient simulation. Each kind of simulation has its own proper learning objectives, indications, and required resources. Currently medical simulation is widely applied in medical education, skills training, performance assessment, research, and equipment testing. With advances of technology, there are wider and deeper applications of medical simulation in clinical skills training. However, it should be supplemented by comprehensive curriculum design and faculty development to consolidate the learning effectiveness of medical simulation.
