本研究聚焦在日本的教育研究上,運用了歷史研究法、文獻分析法與實地調查法,以蒐集日本在教育研究上的重要歷史文件檔案資料,並進行了實地訪談與相關研究報告的分析,期能探究出日本教育研究的制度化過程與現狀發展。進而,本研究深入探討教育研究上的各重要層面當中,教育研究與實務之間的相關性,並歸納出日本教育研究的重要特徵。研究結果發現最具關鍵性的特徵有二:第一,不論是日本官方或非官方的教育研究機構都相當重視教育研究的重要性。尤其是存在著「先進提攜後輩」、「強調專業領域的研究尊嚴」之良好研究風氣與傳統的日本專業教育學會扮演著關鍵角色,並具備有提高教育研究品質的重要功能,即使日本並未採用如同SSCI或是TSSCI一般的全國統一之教育研究品質標準。第二,自2010年以後,大學等教育研究機構開始特別關注教育研究後進人力的培育,並提出各種相關培養策略。最後,本研究將提出結論與相關建議,以供國人借鏡參考。

英文摘要

In this study, we applied historical research, document analysis, and field study to obtain data on Japanese education research. In addition, we examined historical archives, interviewed stakeholders, and reviewed relevant research reports on education research to determine the development of current education research and the process of institutionalization in Japanese education research. Moreover, this study explored the relationship between research and practice regarding key aspects of education research and indicated the characteristics of Japanese education research. The most crucial characteristics are: first, not only Japanese official education research organizations but also nongovernmental education research organizations highly emphasize the importance of education research. Especially, because according to Japanese tradition, senior researchers lead and help junior researchers, and because professional expertise in each education research is valued, Japanese professional educational societies play a key role and have the function of improving the quality of education research, even without using a national and uniform quality-standard system such as the Social Science Citation Index or the Taiwan Social Science Citation Index. Second, since 2010 there have been particular concern and various strategies regarding the cultivation of next-generation academics in education research organizations, universities, and research agencies. Finally, this study presents a conclusion and relevant recommendations.
