隨著服務產業與資訊科技的快速成長，各個產業對於服務的重視程度也逐漸攀高。服務是一種連續性的流程，具有無形、非耐久及同時創造與消費的特性，服務的發展與衡量更難以利用量化的方式加以評估。因此，為了克服許多服務發展的障礙，由管理與工程跨領域整合而成的服務科學相關應用更在服務產業中形成一股新興潮流。本研究即以服務體驗工程流程中的方法論，針對目前最受矚目的智慧監控技術與無線射頻辨識系統(RFID)於校園安全應用之案例探討，透過視察國小學童上下學的狀況來發掘出安全的考量，並從服務科學的角度來審視創新服務的發展與擴散之相關議題。

With the rapid growth and climbing attention to the service industry and the information technology, the cross-integration of management and engineering has been a trend in the service industry to overcome barriers of service development. New innovative value proposition is crucical in enhencing and sustaining the competiviness of service design and delivery. Based on the methodology of Service Experience Engineering process, this case study focuses on the application of the intellectual monitor technique and radio frequency identification (RFID) in the school campus to explore the case of security applications and from the service engineering point of view to examine the issues about development and diffusion of innovative services.
