本文主要在介紹蘇東坡所寫的《定風波》詞,有關其世間、出世間的外、內在轉折歷程,其中涉及到其早年家庭成長及求學背景有密不可分之處,造就他一生精彩又具波折的經歷。而從開端來認識作者生平轉折過程,從而瞭解蘇東坡的人格特質,並分析其個性及行為來對映到其仕經歷,進而瞭解蘇東坡在寫這首詞時的心情寫照,與其內在心境轉折。這首詞是蘇東坡於被貶謫黃州後的第三年(宋神宗元豐五年(1802))所寫的,屬眼前寫景及寓心中事,而蘇東坡一生風波不斷,因飽讀詩書,學識淵博,於是為官從政,但因不改讀書人的個性與風骨,當違背上意而上書,進而遭受牢獄之災;歷經九死一生、為官被貶及被人污陷等人生經歷後,所幸不改其超曠性格,寫出這首《定風波》,展現出離塵、不受世慾之牽伴自在自然的心境。因作者之思想關係,貫穿了儒、道、釋三家內容,雖這三家各有其豐富的思想背景,但因郁於扣緊主題之因素,爰從佛家之世出世間的禪學揭示來作一探討,藉以了解清楚呈現《定風波》的深層意涵。

英文摘要

The thesis mainly discuss the poem "Calming the Waves" written by Su Shi and his internal and external struggle about going in and out of the world. It involves his early family and school background which makes his life experience wonderful but full of twists and turns. By introducing the biography and career experience of Su Shi from the start, we can know his personality traits. By Analyzing his personality and behavior in correspondence to his career experience, we can know further his mood portrayal and internal mood turning. The poem was written in the third year after Su Shi is relegated to Huang Zhou. He described scenery and blended things in mid in the poem. The life of Su Shi is full of disturbance. He entered politics because of better education and greater knowledge. He was reluctant to change his personality and strength of character so he often wrote letters against emperor’s will, and went to jail in consequence. After a narrow escape, relegation and being framed, he never changed his broad-minded character. The poem represents his supramundane, free and natural mood. The thinking of Su Shi blends Confucianism, Taoist and Buddhism. Although the three above have their rich ideological background, he probed into them from the point of Zen and whereby presented the deep meaning of the poem and interpreted the notion and brilliant content of the three indirectly.
