本文由《易經》六十四卦中，挑選出四組八卦，解析每一組連續二卦的用意，皆在於展示「居安思危」的觀點。這四組中，有二組的卦為覆卦關係，如〈小畜卦〉與〈履卦〉，〈豐卦〉與〈旅卦〉；另二組的卦則只是相續關係，如〈大有卦〉與〈謙卦〉，〈大畜卦〉與〈頤卦〉。由這兩種關係皆可得出共同的結論，更可見《易經》這種觀點的普遍適用性。當然，易經除了「居安思危」，也有「樂天知命」與「由危轉安」等較為積極的側面，尚待另文分析。

In this article, four pairs of hexagrams are chosen out of the sixty-four ones in The Book of Changes to analyze how every pair of them is meant to show the concept of “vigilance in peacetime.” Among the four pairs, the hexagrams in two of them are opposite to one another, such as the Small Buildup Hexagram and the Treading Hexagram, the Richness Hexagram and the Travel Hexagram, while the ones in the other two pairs are continuous with one another, such as the Great Possession Hexagram and the Humility Hexagram, the Great Buildup Hexagram and the Nourishment Hexagram. The fact that common conclusions can be drawn out of these two different relationships shows the general application of this concept from The Book of Changes. Certainly, other than “Vigilance in Peacetime,” there are other more positive aspects to be analyzed in the future.
