本文透過「明體達用」觀念,以象山心性論為體,其讀書方法為用,評述象山理論體系是否能貫徹明體達用原則,透過其讀書方法正確傳遞其心觀念之精神。一般皆以象山讀書方法在其「六經註我,我註六經」特色,卻未注意其反對「泛讀」,要求古註須「精看」的文本;或視象山學問重「尊德性」輕「道問學」,而未留意其學亦具有「獨立判斷」之閱讀要求與「經典比較」讀書方法之運用。更重要者則是其以心性為基礎,進而要求其實踐工夫或讀書學習必須以去私與立志為起點的原因,以及象山如何能透過其心性論之體而建構其實踐動力之用,亦為本文欲析論之目標。

英文摘要

Based on the idea of “understanding the system and putting it into practice” with Lu Xiang-Shan’s mind-nature nature as the system and his learning methodology as the practice, this article is to comment on whether Lu’s theoretical system accomplishes the principle of “understanding the system and putting it into practice” and conveys his idea of mind through his own learning methodology. People generally assume Lu’s learning method to be characterized by “the Six Classics annotate me, and I Annotate the Six Classics'' without noticing his objection to “extensive reading” and demand of “intensive reading,” or saw his emphasis on “promoting virtues” rather than “respected knowledge” without seeing his demand of “independent judgment” and his application of “comparing the Classics.” More importantly, we are here to point out how Lu demanded the practice and learning to begin with selflessness and determination and how he constructed the practice through the system of his mind-nature theory.
