The anxiety and pains produced in one’s confrontation with death is due to none other than the change of situation and the gap in expectation. This article is meant to inquire on the mourning and the dying, regarding the differences in their expectation about the humanistic dimension in face of the inevitability of death, whereby we see that the mourning expect the dying to be “at rest” and “present,” while the dying, in face of death, wish the mourning to understand “death” and “worship,” and the differences in the expectation, recognition and understanding between the two parties are primarily the causes of pains, anxiety and rift. In this article, we wish to make people reconsider the meaning of death and relieve the anxiety of being.
