在臺灣,102學年度國小學生中有12%為新移民子女,新移民子女由於母國文化、語言、風俗及文字與本地的差異,容易造成學習適應上的困難,其學業成就也是學校教育關注的焦點。本研究旨在探討新移民子女學業成就之現況與差異情形。首先,探討新移民子女學業成就之相關文獻,並將其歸納與分析;其次蒐集個案學校學生之成績,進行百分比同質性卡方檢定,進一步分析新移民子女學業成就之現況與差異情形。研究發現新移民子女的學業成就(國語、數學、英文)與臺灣一般學生沒有差異。文末,根據研究結果提出相關建議供教育行政單位與後續研究參考。

英文摘要

Children with foreign parent have accounted 12% of elementary school students in 2013 academic year in Taiwan. Their learning achievements have become a concern in school education. The main purposes of this study were to explore the educational attainment of second-generation immigrants. First, collect literatures about achievement of children with foreign parent to analyze and generalize. Second, the researcher collects academic achievement in the school to analyze the achievement of children with foreign parent. As the data analyzed, the conclusions are made based on the findings of the survey. Finally, according to the results, suggestions were afford to improve educational policies and future studies.
