本文旨在探討國際上日益成長的國際高中文憑學程,主要研究目的有三,一是探討該學程的發展,其次是分析其學程的內涵、特色與挑戰,包括其課程與評量,第三是討論其在我國的適用性,並提出其作為我國後期中等教育課程選項可能建議。主要的研究方法有文獻分析、文件分析,輔以訪談。國際高中文憑學程不只是一國際教育的選項,也有翻轉現有中等教育學習模式的潛力,其課程也值得國內中等教育課程反省參考。文末提出對國際教育與我國中等教育課程的啟示。

英文摘要

The purpose of this paper is to examine an emerging curriculum option, the international baccalaureate diploma program (IBDP). Focuses of this paper include the development of IBDP, its curriculum framework, characteristics and challenges, as well as its implications for Taiwan’s upper secondary education. Document analysis, literature review, and interviews were used for addressing the research questions. IBDP is not only an option for international education, but also a possible alternative for reforming teaching and learning models in upper secondary education. Suggestions for incorporating IBDP in Taiwan’s upper secondary education are provided at the end of the paper.
