本研究利用應力波斷面影像法評估國立臺灣大學生物資源暨農學院實驗林管理處下評自 然教育園區內遭受火害危及之肯氏南洋杉立木材質狀態,以作為後續維護管理之依據。結果指 出,8株肯氏南洋杉立木材質以編號34之立木外觀受害最嚴重,應力波檢測結果其NE及SE之弦向 音速值僅為1145 m/s與1105 m/s,較其他株立木之弦向音速值1,522 m/s–1,874 m/s明顯為低,且經應 力波斷面影像法顯示其內部具有0.7%–32.8%之腐朽面積,縱向抗壓強度亦僅為12.97–19.28 MPa, 較健全材質之30.0 MPa以上為低,顯示該株立木內部確有受害之情況發生。另斷面影像法評估之 腐朽面積與實際腐朽面積量測結果,顯示具有良好正相關,顯示此法有助於立木材質之健全度評估。

英文摘要

The major objective of this study was to investigate and to detect properties and defects of Hoop pine standing tree (Araucaria cunninghamia ) by using stress-wave tomographic technique. The results indicated that among the Hoop pine standing trees, No. 34 sample tree was the most unhealthy in outward appearance. Compared to other standing trees (the stress-wave velocity were 1522m/s–1874 m/s), lower stress-wave velocity (1145–1105 m/s) was found in sample tree No. 34. Additionally, a significant positive linear relationship was demonstrated between actual decay area and simulated internal decay area by using stress-wave tomographic technique. Results also indicated that the compression strength parallel to grain of the decayed tree was only 12.97–19.28 MPa, which was lower than the healthy tree.
